Hey guys! This video demonstrates the Square Card Reader from the folks at Squareup.com. Along with your iPhone, iPad, and Android device, you're able to take credit card payments with your Square Card reader. It's fast, safe, easy to use, and absolutely free to acquire and use. The transaction process as well as the sign up process is very easy and user friendly. The set up process requires you to have a bank account in order for payments to be received. The only downside to it is that it doesn't work 100% on the iPhone 4 due to the metal frame found on the iPhone 4. I'm anticipating the arrival of the new model that Squareup.com will be shipping out. Please look forward to that video as well. Also, since it's free and this item is in such a high demand, it may take a while before they send you one. Please comment, rate thumbs up, and subscribe!

  • Congrats to all of you who ordered the square and didnt read all of the agreements. You practically fucked yourselves over. You fucking unconscious fools who are just obsessed with thier precious smart phones and the new accessory that everyone has to have. Is this is what our world has come to? Practically selling yourself to the government for a neat little toy. God bless you all. Om Osiris darzayati daya

  • Fee is 2.75% per transaction + .15 / transaction. It is 3.75% + .15 per transaction IF you run the card manually without using the swipe device.

  • This idea is sweet! Only, I have no use for it. It's not really worth carrying around for the rare occasion I use it.

  • Your cookie looks like you are selling a turd on your phone... =)

  • Have you checked out squarealternative dotcom? No contract, a little less expensive and it's a Real Merchant account - 24/7 Phone support. A better option for businesses.

  • Really good presentation, Dave...technology--freaking marvelous, ay? I bought my cardreader at Radio Shack and it comes with a $10 c.c. (device was only $9.95)...so, your up a nickel. The question is: w/o signature verification, how long until some idiot-junkie forges an old ladies signature and tries to explain how the money got in his account w/o his first stealing her purse? That day in court oughta be good for a laugh.

  • @shadow9879 Yes, the rate is 2.75% for a swiped charge, and 3.5% for a keyed charge. It is free to get, but not free to use. It is, however, the least expensive processor on the market right now.
