Thank you for this! I had a few attempts but cracked it with the following:
Very thin plastic from a Tesco battery box (was all I had lying around) cut to 1.7cm x 4cm.
The key for me was to keep the plastic flat and not let it crinkle up (happens if you push too hard). Wiggle to get it into position and then the tray slides out.
Hey man, could you tell me what kind of material you used? I've tried a lot of different types of plastic, but most are too thick and if they fit in they're as stuck as my microsim adapter. plz help!:(

For others having trouble, I used a strip of plastic from a bottle of terpetine. This material is quit thin and strong.
