About 10 years ago I became very close to an amazing woman. She had me listen to this song one day, it was her way of trying to tell me something. Long story short we fell in love and I ended up hurting her very badly, actually I hurt both of us very badly, she fell in love with another and I never stopped loving her, I will forever be missing her. I will always love you Lippy Dragonfly and what we had together.

I have her Mirrorball cd and listen to it quite a lot. This song in particular is just so beautiful, lyrically and musically. And it too has a certain meaning for me.

This song makes me think of the one I can not have... My nemesis, Genesis. The unattainable, impossible and unfathomable lover. I can't honestly say I've ever needed someone this way... But I fight myself to the death trying to figure out how to let go. I don't know if I can... Or will ever.

Having been in a cult for 30 years (Scientology) and escaped out in 2000---I lost **all*** of my 30 year "friends", as well as my then loving husband, of 27 years. Music is what you take from it. I just let the one person in this life I care for go because of circumstances beyond the control of either of us. As someone stoic and reserved, this song has made me weep effusively.
