The temperature is 1 degree Celsius. The snow drifts are 8 feet high. It is June. This is the Sognefjell Mountain Pass in Norway.

In majestic surroundings, high in the mountains past blue ice, jagged peaks and emerald lakes, the Sognefjell Road runs between Sognefjord, the world's longest fjord, and the Gudbrandsdal valley. The Sognefjell Road was designated Norway's first tourist route in 1997.

At the end pf the road is a hotel will dead plucked chickens hanging from the porch, and a witch on the weather vane. Elveseter Hotel has decorations and artifacts that that make it unique.
