@Jerram89 I wish our chorus would use the starting pitch as well. We always get the tonic, and we don't seem to hit the 5th accurately, and so lose pitch before we've even started...

@Jerram89 They also give the start note instead of the tonic, which is unusual too.

interesting - they take a piano pitch rather then a pipe pitch.
