Excerpt from a talk show that aired in September 2011, in which BBC's Evan Davis interviews Hugh Hendry (CIO & Founder Eclectica Asset Management), Guy Berruyer (CEO SAGE) and Brent Hoberman (Entrepreneur).

At this point Hugh is repeating what he's been saying for some time now. Nevertheless he's always entertaining to listen to; a shame then that he is making fewer media appearences these days.

@utubesqueeze I just uploaded the salient part otherwise I would have to upload the whole thing which I'd rather not do. I noticed that someone has uploaded a YouTube clip with the full audio so theres that option. The remaining segment of the discussion largely focused on the views of the other guests re: trading/managing rumours and speculation. Hugh's opinion on that is succinct - paraphrasing, it's very difficult to make any money trading rumours - it eventually catches up with you.

Seen this already but how *did* Hugh manage to escape his office? :) I like the Sage guy's composure too.

@utubesqueeze I suppose he doesn't really need to answer to the CEO he appointed, at least not for trifling matters :) Personally, were it not for his media appearances I mightn't have heard of Eclectica and subsequently invested with him so theres a clear merit to doing the odd media spot.

hugh hendry said long time ago,that greece will need a haircut,everyone said no...it hapened and ive seen other videos with him and he was right...i wonder if my country goes bunkrupt and what oportunities and missfortunes are going to happen apart from the obvious ones!!
