The first year for the AMC Rambler Marlin. Based on the Rambler Classic intermediate class car. originally designed to be a Rambler American. This car really might have taken off if it had been on the smaller car.....it could have been a great alternative to the Mustang. Joe Sirola provides the voice over for this spot

In 1966, Fairlane went to dual reservoir master cylinders. And optional disc brakes. But they still stopped like crap. No different than most US cars of the period.

@OldcarsNmusic I love David Janssen from the Fugitive and O'Hara US Treasury....and Harry O....TV shows.....I don't think this is him......maybe a similiar voice....

The Rambler Classic actually outsold the Ford Fairlane in 1965. But I think that was the last and only year that it did.
