you might have heard of it before , this is a full explanatory video , and the latest of their trends , its really cheap and all basic needs can be found in here, this idea might look ridiculous to some people when you have in mind places like dubai and sydney , but the dense cities of japan is in need of such creative thinking to fulfill their needs ,watch the video and you will understand .

  • Small question: why is there a dress code?

  • @mr2000jp first off you sleep in a coffin..those capsules just depressive as fuck..then the lobby is just empty and dull, not even a single paint on the wall, no windows....high suicide rate is definitely because of places like this..

  • I think this would be awesome on long haul flights. I know it's not economical at all for such a purpose, but it doesn't change the fact that long journeys would be really comfy :). As opposed to the current hell on earth you experience in economy on a 24hr flight T.T

  • I'd make a hotel like that in the US if I had the money. lol

  • @Gell1welt69

Nothing new really, it first developed in a hotel in the US in 2009 where you would take a nap in the middle of day.

The only difference is that you ask at the reception the time you want to wake up, and it starts to bright up slowly half an hour before instead of 15 minutes.

And no its not capsules, its a room with a chair/bed desigened to give you the best sleep possible.
