SHOWJUMPING: Leslie Steele -- the Glamour of Goodness Gracious!

I first saw this mare go in Colorado, and was *astonished* by the combination of her beauty and athletic prowess... all made manifest at the ripe ol' age of SIX-YEARS-OLD!

Ridden by Leslie Steele, whom I'd long since come to admire for her past rides aboard the sinfully-gorgeous stallion Figaro; Goodness Gracious can be seen here putting in an exciting 4 fault round at the AGA/Budweiser Grand Prix of High Prairie... and during the beginnings of a thunderstorm at that!

This class was later won by Damian Gardner and Piñon Lili, in a spectacular jumpoff during a torrential downpour!

I haven't yet. Been distracted by school apps and a crazy current job.

But Pinon Patriot was primarily ridden by Damian Gardner, and he will be included in the video... whenever I get off my behind and actually make it. ;)

Where did you get this video? Could you post Damian Gardner's ride on Pinon Lilli if you have it? I trained with Damian for several years and he said that Lilli was his absolute favorite mare. I would love to see her in action. Cool video. Thanks!

I taped it when it was on TV.

I very much plan to post Lili's ride... it will be part of a video called "the Pinon Pantheon". Look for it in a week or so.

Yes, I definitely have it, just haven't gotten around to posting it. With law school and all, you might've noticed that my postings have gotten drastically less frequent, but I still intend to do 'em.

About halfway through making a tribute vid to Land of Kings. I'll do the Pinon Pantheon vid, for my next equestrian-related upload, after that. Thanks for viewing. :)

Indeed.

Unfortunately, she's now showjumping in the clouds... but she has a son ("Oh My Goodness") who Leslie is competing now, and man did that horse inherit his mother's flair!!
