This is a clip from a concert shown on German TV in 1998.
Even after all he has gone through, Peter Green still has magic in his fingers.
The piece was written by Peter and first recorded while with John Mayall's Bluesbreakers in the sixties. The original recording of this groundbreaking instrumental can be found on the album "A Hard Road".

    Yes, I agree, it's his timing, phrasing and subtlety that make him unique.

    He's also in total control. Watch how he turns to face the amp, coaxing a hint of feedback out of it when he needs more sustain. Fascinating. A master at work!

  • @nunestunes I reckon he could play this piece on virtually any guitar / amp combination and it would still sound fantastic.

    I actually prefer this version to the original recording from the sixties. It's more mellow and played with even more feeling.
