Demonstration of ju jitsu fighting by Robert Clark (9th Dan). Ju-Jitsu utilises skill rather than strength and brute force. This martial art is accessible to all, regardless of age gender or build.
@Ronnin50 your right alan is in Austrailia now, i did all my grading under them both, shodan with robert clarke, i was trained by steve elliott from chesterfield, we did a lot of other training thats a bit nasty, these two in the vid are top guys, got lots of respect for them both
I saw Bob Clark and his student (Alan) give a demo behind closed doors at a Met Police Martial Arts club way back in the 80s. It was without doubt the most impressive traditional art demo I have ever seen, frigging awesome. They flowed from one technique to another and countered and escaped in a constant motion that was mind bending. He seems to operate under the Martial arts radar but any serious student should seek him out at some stage in their life. Much respect!
I'd agree with you there fella I studied wjjf in easterhouse in glasgow and have been in quite a few sticky situations with my job in places such as iraq and i'm glad I had the training of this martial art as a back up it is also a good way to devolope and keep kids off the streets it trains you to be respectful and gives you an inner calm sorry sounds cheesy but I've taken alot from the sport
I trained with Bob Clark for years and got my first Black belt with John Steadman. Both good guys. This video is with Alan Campbell who I beleive is in Austrailia now. He was good to.
I trained to Black Belt with the WJJF when i was a teenager. I grew up in one of the roughest parts of Manchester in England and i know that if it wasn't for what i had learned in theory, there's a few times i would have ended up seriously injured, possibly dead. It's all very well winning competitions, but at the end of the day what it comes down to is the knowledge to defend yourself in real life. It is not just the moves, but the state of mind... and you would get both with the WJJF.
I done my Junior Black (Shodan) today, Shook Prof Robert Clarks hand, and got a picture!!

@HarryBallbag
Not everyone likes competition (most people do not).
I havn't yet seen any MMA fighters bring tire irons, knives or guns to the otagon.
not all .......most attackers are not skilled fighters.
This type training was used to train the military's in WW1 AND 2.
