This would be a great time saver for cleaning the sound on a one channel amp. Set the amp for a dirty sound and use the pedal to clean it up. It's almost like adding a sceond channel to your amp.

@Ande5865 you can do that with the Ehx LPB-1 too, i do it for that use and also use it as a solo boost because my amp does not have that.

Would this perhaps work if I plugged it in to my effects loop? I have a tube amp, and I want to get that juicy natural distortion from it, but I have a family. I guess I could plug it in to my effects loop in my amp, turn the amps volume up, and just keep the volume control on this buddy down low. Is that true?

But the effect is simply just a reversed Boost pedal! Why not use a boost pedal?!

Can this be used like a boost pedal when on max volume, or does max volume simply give you the volume you dialed in on the amp?
