SAY GOODBYE TO THE STARDUST CASINO

I just cannot believe how they wasted a fine hotel like the Stardust. A true ICON. The stardust did not look old and beat up like the frontier. By the way, im glad the frontier went. The Stardust looked great on the strip, so kept up with the times. The frontier, however, was an utter eyesore

I thought we would get to see it implode!

The Echelon resort that was supposed to have been built on that spot by now has been mothballed due to the economy. So now, that grand hotel casino is now the site of a large vacant lot surrounded by plastic sheeting fence. A damned shame, if you ask me.

The patented shakey cam.

You sound pretty sad about stardust and I can't blame you. I'm from michigan and most of my favorites scenes are GONE. Like boblo island and four bears water park.

I stayed at the Stardust back in 2000, really enjoyed a great room on the 27th floor facing the south strip. It was an outstanding view. Later in 2007 I was part of the crew loading up stuff from the Stardust, a few weeks before the implosion. I still have my closing team pass badge #203. I miss the Stardust and the Westward Ho as well...that was part of old school Vegas...Oh well guess nothing stays the same for long in Vegas.

I HATE Vegas!

It was NOT one of the best sportsbooks in town as the guy says. I live in Las Vegas, I know. Also, the Stardust was a real dump the last 8 years or so, they let it go.
I know what you mean, I went past there again a few days ago and there isn't much left from when I took this video. I really wish they would leave the old, orginal places up and just add something new. Jim
