Rarotonga, Aitutaki, Mangaia, Mitiaro, Mauke, Atiu, Manuae, Takutea, Palmerston, Penrhyn, Manihiki, Pukapuka, Rakahanga, Suwarrow, Nassau cover a total land area of about 240sq km, spreading over 2 million sq km of the south-west Pacific Ocean.

Air New Zealand operates flights from AKL-Auckland and direct flights from LAX-Los Angeles; PPT-Air Tahiti operates 2 flights between Rarotonga and Tahiti; Pacific Blue operates flights from Melbbourne to Auckland and then to Rarotonga.

Distance from Auckland to Rarotonga is 16053km or 10033 miles, and flight time is about 4hrs.

Nestled in the South-West Pacific Ocean are fifteen tiny islands called the Cook Islands, named after Captain James Cook.The name Cook Islands is a well known brand name, so take a holiday here and explore what these islands have to offer.
