In the case of stepping on something hot, the brain is not aware besause the whole process of escaping is provided by reflexes that have centers in the spinal cord. So, the brain has nothing to do with that. That's why it happends so fast, and eveybody know that since long time ago...

There is an ego, I lost it for a few seconds like three or four times one evening, like in waves, Then it stopped after I denied whatever had been fooling with my self. It is a strange feeling...
