@azfg1 The risk for young kids getting seriously injured with wrestling takedowns is significant. There is almost zero risk of a 60lb kid injuring another 60lb kid with strikes to the body. I've seen a 60lb kid dislocate another kids arm, I've never seen a 60lb kid injure another kid with strikes to the body. The kids aren't "fighting" in this sport any more than they are in grappling or wrestling. Odd comment.

I think it's sick to let kids fight like this! It's one thing to wrestle and grapple but to have them punching and kicking is insane. Even if u can't punch or kick in the face.
