Well it was tore up in the 80's and what a discovery me and jpaufsc made lots of ties and a big bridge also I brought home a tie palte I found but soon, maybe over spring break I will go back and take pictures with my digital camera and not my cell phone. We discovered a switch track and more! Its was built in 1853 - The "Canandaigua & Niagara Falls Railroad." is constructed through the the southern Rochester region, between Canandaigua and Batavia. This later is know as the New York Central "Peanut" line.
On the abandoned Lehigh Valley's Peanut Line (which I do not know were they got the name from) in my home town of East Amherst.
