I don't know why, but I love goldfishes more than any other types of fish. All the species "Oranda, black moor, lionhead, ranchu, fantail, Pearl Scale, bubble eye.... They are just so nice!! I really like your aquarium, you can check out my oranda and lionhead aquarium if you want

I had a red cap oranda too, but she died of some unknown reason. Looking forward to keep some more redcap orandas but this time with more care.

Good video. Good fish. The big guy is really adorable. The background music needs to be praised too! Very good fish tank;had the lighting be pure white it would have been more adorable. Best wishes to the owner.

Great fish and a great looking setup! The close-up at 1:30 i think is the most beautiful Oranda i've seen. I notice that you and a number of other fancy Goldfish keepers don't use tank gravel, i was wondering what is the purpose of this?

Hehe thank you. My Oranda at 1:30 is called Polly and is MUCH bigger now with a huge wen!
I don't use gravel as it adds another element to clean and it can store bad bacteria/ gases if not cleaned correctly.

thats an awesome fishtank, but i'm having problems with one of my orange oranda goldfish. it has a little white growth on its top of the head, the part that looks like a raspberry. please tell me how to cure it!

For starters look on the internet for "white spot" and other goldfish illnesses. However in my experience it is best to leave the Wen (the raspberry looking growth on the head) to do its thing. Hope that helps.
