@Epicarrants unlocked sidekicks will ONLY have the phone and SMS testing functions. No need for data plans since there's no way to fully unlock the AIM/IM, email and web functions. Otherwise it works if you just need a phone with a good keyboard for testing.

i am selling the 2008 T-Mobile Sidekick...... has the charger, usb cable, and holster....
has no scratches on the screen or the phone itself..... send me a messege if interested

@aznboy1234455 T-mobile requires a data plan for new devices, although you may be able to use your current SIM card on an unlocked SideKick. Generally, T-Mobile has really user-friendly plans and inexpensive options for data. Generally data will cost between $20 and $30 depending on your agreement with T-Mobile. You can also go pre-paid, meaning you pay as you go (example, 1$/day unlimited text, and web with 15C/min).
