  • How did you hook up your sub mixer to the main mixer?

  • @JustAdam112 That video was from a while ago so I think I had the main stereo outs to one the stereo inputs of my other mixer.

  • how much was your sub-mixer with the Ipod hub on it . thats pretty cool

  • @shelbylee40 It cost me $350.00. If you can find them, they're less than $275.00. It's the Alesis iMultimix 8 USB.

  • This is not really a basic intro. Ur using too much jargon and 'lingo'. If this a Mixer Basics Vid, u should have better lighting on the board and better close-ups would be helpful for those who are trying to learn this for the 1st time. U should spend more time on each channel and focus on what each knob does. Some people don't know what a "tweeter" is, yet ur assuming your audience already knows what it means. This is a good vid for those who already have some understanding but not for nubes.

  • can you use a preamp to add channels to the main mixer. Like having the channels from the preamp put out to only one input channel in the mixer? would there be a quality difference in the sound? lol idk if its an obvious question, but I'm pretty new to this stuff.

  • @pinkfloydeffect I'm using Pinnacle Studios HD now. So far so good...

Sorry, I really have no experience with power distribution.

  • @wrmaplpi What a bummer, I edit with Sony Vegas Pro 9 HD. Are you any good at rigging up the electrical distribution portion? I'm trying to wire a power box with two leads so I can plug one into one room and another into another room ensuring two separate circuits in case someone kicks a cord or we blow a breaker. But I did not know if I need some sort of a diode to direct the current one way.
