@Edelien Well yes, and lack of oxygen to the brain isn't the only cause of the events someone experiences while near death. If you read some of the science, such a prospect wouldn't seem so far fetched, though if you think about it it's hardly far fetched intuitively. And another thing that needs to be pointed out: NDE- near death experience-is something quite distinct from death or being dead.
