@shadhom Yes she is! :)

I love her and this song.... Sopranos are my ultimate favorite on any choir!!
-
The choir is amazing and so is the vocalist..the anointing is all over her.
-
@okebaram she is a soprano, the sopranos are on the right and the altos are on the left.

love this song!

@okebaram Buddy, I've found that in a lot of choirs (especially ones that sing a lot of HIGH songs) you will find sopranos in the alto section....They do it to keep the alto section full when they sing high songs.. I met this one lady, that sings soprano in her church choir but alto in a small group that she sings with. Donald Lawrence does it a lot

@prmike22 I first heard this lady on a video titled this lady can holler. Back then when that video was taken, she hit sustained Bb5s, not some times, back to back continuously. The video is still on youtube but for some reason the sound quality has become very poor when it used to be perfect previously. Old or new, Jonte be sanging. And here, she hit A5 twice

Awesome singer, is she originally from New Orleans?
-
dag she hit a buncha G#5's and and even hit an A5... BEASTIN!!!

@slacker0897 I think it's the way Kurt Carr arranges his choir that my assumption/expectation came from lol. Thanks for the info bit
Someone help me out on this. If Ricky's choir is arranged like regular choirs, then it seems Jonte (the lead singer) went to the alto section after singing? Could that be, because how can she be in the alto section?

@okebaram choirs are not always arranged the same way. From my experience, most church choirs will have the altos on the right and the sopranos on the far left, but it'll be the opposite for community choirs. But it usually depends on the director's preference.
