The Grand Coulee Dam was constructed between 1933 and 1942, and for a long time was the largest Dam in the world. It is still, to my knowledge the largest Dam in the United States. It is located in North Central Washington state.

Since May 1989, on summer evenings, the laser light show at Grand Coulee Dam is projected onto the dam's wall. The water is turned on full-force and used as a canvas for a patriotic show depicting the history of the Dam and of the Columbia River.

We filmed this movie from the lookout point right below the dam, it was our second trip there for the 4th of July weekend, and we would recommend it to anyone; especially folks with school age kids who are interested in science.

Hope you enjoy the movie.
