gng is better because he is a lot stronger then weed and plus weed is a bit to soft letting everyone go all the time when there just gonna try and kill him agian.

Oh noh it ended! But you know that in the GNG manga has those wolf parts? Why they r not in the anime? :( I miss them so mutch!

@HOWLINGWOLFSTORM Not in the manga. He lived and Lydia is his mate. And because of that, it can be inconclusive in the anime. Although if they don't make a part 2 of weed ever, then it can be assumed that he passed on.

@HOWLINGWOLFSTORM yeah but if you understand what he says in the jpn, he is not saying that as a character you surpass me and that you are superior to me, he is simply saying "you will suceed me" the same as Riki unto Gin. That weed will now take over the duties of a leader. He said the other things as proof that "weed is now ready to take that role"

@bigBoltfan1 There are too many inconsistancies within the GDW storyline and their characters. They were also all rip offs of older characters with very few being fresh. The animation is different naturally because of time difference but I actually like Toei's take rather than Studio Deen. And there was a narrator in GDW but they did it less so in the anime (still there in the manga) because of tastes which have changed in anime. They had to appeal to a new audience.

@HOWLINGWOLFSTORM Surpassed him how? I actually disagreed with that. Weed was a very inconsistent leader which shows weakness. He also stongly believed in his own sense of morality even if it jeopardized his pack. That's horrible and the same way Hougen thinks.

I think what makes this show wasn't necessarily the raw power of the dogs but the power in their characters and message. This show was big on camaraderie. They weren't helplessly waiting around for Gin or Riki to do something. Everyone did their part. I felt in GDW that they relied too much specifically on Weed and glorified him. I didn't like that they made Orion. Enough with this lineage hierarchy. What about Jerome's kids? I would have liked to have seen one of them become leader.

@HOWLINGWOLFSTORM The manga is called Ginga Densetsu Weed: Orion. Orion is Weed's son and Weed has three other pups in the manga plus a Mate. so yes the Legend does go on. Hopefully they make a seires out of Ginga Densetsu Weed: Orion.

well i like gin and all but he says himself in gdw that weed surpassed him in power and became the new leader. But ya know riki ended up stronger than shiro and gin ended up stronger than riki and weed ended up stronger than gin and if weed has a son (which is almost impossible because there are no goddamn women in the series) he will probably be stronger, thats what i think

@bigBoltfan1 GNG hass better animation.... because in GNG they look more like dogss then in GDW. and I like the story better to bad it was'nt just like the manga then It would be a much longer anime. because GDW, weed has two brothers to. joe and yukimura. and in the manga hougen does'nt get killed bij weed he only just gets hurt. and hougen walks away and gets shoot by a man. and jerome does'nt die in the manga.
