I have a wooden piccolo and the man who sold me it never said you should oil it. I only know you supposed to do that with a clarinet!? BTW, I love this piece, I hope I can ever play it myself, but I still have to do audition for a symphony orchestra. (I'm only 14, so I think I still have plenty of time)

@violinistx100 You're NEVER supposed to oil wooden piccolos. It ruins the wood. They spend years in oil before it's even carved.

The only thing is, is that you have to send it to the shop for an oiling of the wood and it's kinda pricey as well as the wooden piccolo. I love the piccolo!
