Ebay pipe buyers beware!

I bought some cheap tobacco pipes from ebay just for fun and talk about why they are low quality. More of a warning video to new pipe smokers trying to get a deal on ebay, showing why you should stay away from pipes like these.

I bought a pipe for £17.00 from Ebay and it said that it was a BBB (Britain's Best Briar) pipe. It's all right so far. My girlfriend got me a carved wooden pipe from Romania and I haven't had the nerve to try it yet since she got it for £6. Everything looks fine on it but there seems to be a really deep bowl with a metal plate inside that seems to separate the bowl from a smoke chamber. Any ideas on this kind of thing?

@wildvenisson I don't really know what that might be. But I would be suspicious of any pipe that had a metal plate at the bottom of the chamber as I have never purchased a pipe from a serious company that has included one. The people on Brothers of the Briar might know more if you want to join that form.

@southernpipeman24 I can tell you which ever cob he has it is better quality then these tell him to stick with the cobs until he can buy a briar

@ring088 I have a couple of the Ukrainian pipes. They aren't bad, but you get a pear-like taste from the pearwood it is made from.

Any updates? did you try a bowl in one? I always look at these pipes on the E-bay all nice and shiny but i know they cant be to good I have seen some Ukraine pipes that look crazy also

@bigdog1150 they are almost surely stuck because I can not remove the metal piece i thing they melted the plastic bit to it or something and i don't know even if i did mod it it would have a horrible taste i think
