My boy had ADEM, too. He had two seizures, fell into a coma and when he woke he was paralysed. He is no left with leg weakness and behavioral issues as well as loss of grammar. Hope your husband recovers well, though the prognosis is very good. Good luck!

my mum had ADEM 3 years ago and she still in a wheelchair. she can walk a bit on a frame. i'm her 13 year old daughter who looks after her everyday. its a hard recovery. I hope you husband has a well recovery and these situations makes familes stronger!.

I had ADEM about 7 months ago. Lost coordination in my right foot but everything has come back to normal now, back to work now as a mechanical engineer stay strong people !
