After reviewing 30,000 hotels & resorts worldwide, global online travel group Expedia.com has announced Adelaides Majestic Roof Garden Hotel as Australias best hotel.

Further to this, the hotel was named 24th best in the world behind hotels such as Canadas Chateau Beauvallon in Quebec, Japan's Prince Park Tower in Tokyo and Portugal's Viva Marinha Hotel & Suites in Cascais.

The Expedia Insiders Select list has been compiled using the feedback from hundreds of thousands of Expedia.com customers based on customer service and value for money, combined with insights from its network of experts worldwide.

The hotel recently celebrated its 5th birthday and this result is the best present we could imagine! Managing Director John Culshaw had a vision to introduce a boutique hotel into the Adelaide market that provided guests with exceptional comfort at a competitive rate.
