Jetsam gets some market shrimp =] Had to put the camera down to stick some more shrimp on the stick.

Freshwater eels, sometimes called snowflake eels, are not truly freshwater and do need some marine salt in their water to thrive. I had these guys in freshwater at first (they were in freshwater at the pet store) and they barely ate. After upping my salinity level a bit, they now eat almost everyday and are very voracious! This is a low end brackish tank with 2 archers, silver datnoid, and 2 eels. Salinity level is 1.007.
