I was always impressed that each was a lead singer. That was rare in sister groups. Though, actually, all three Andrews Sisters were lead singers but the decision was to only use Patty in that role so the public would always get an immediately identifiable sound on record in the days before television.

I finally know which sister is wdich, Diane in the middle, Kathy on the right, Peggy on the left, and janet on the far left. I would love to meet them. They're all kind and sweet women.
