This video is about the Lower Lakes in South Australia, please also help the cause of Lake Bonney in the Riverland South Australia too, Lake Bonney was cut off from the Murray in 2007 to "SAVE" water, the lake is now dying and the government now want to install a regulator ?? Where does the madness end. South Australias needs FRESH WATER. Water allocations must be increased. The environment should come first. We need real solutions not more construction, start fixing the open cut drains interstate, stop flood irrigation as has been done in Israel. The evaporation losses from this sort of irrigation is huge and is environmentally unsustainable. South Australias Lakes are paying the ultimate price for the economy. And don't forget the other Lake Bonney in the states South East, which has been a dumping ground for the pulp mills in the area for years. And continues to be a dumping ground for discharge from the remaining pulp mill by Kimberly-Clarke, with government approval until end 2014. So who is looking after your environment one might ask. Let the River Murray flow again. We need to be working with the environment not against it...
