What the? He's far from the best in the world and just had a very good race today. If he can show that he was no fluke then he deserves a chance in the Classic. Also if you knew anything you described Mine That Bird as well.

Ah, yeah!?! Oh how that makes it so OK for the punters (horseplayers). This horse winning is not so dissimilar to the athletes that come from relative obscurity to best in teh world in teh space of a few months....only to find all was not well. I will bet he is not good enough to win another Grade 1 this year ....certainly nmot teh BC Classic as he will likely be facing the best Euopean horse in a couple of decades and on no medication either!

This is totally Disgraceful with a capital D........American racing has surely hit a new all time low! How a horse of this calibre can come from the performances to date to win a Grade 1 is mindboggling. The latest high profile trainer who surely must have something to answer to......or doesn't that happen in the States??

You must of not read it but Baffert took this horse because he knew he'd like synthetics and JUST for synthetics. He's probably a top calibar horse on this surface.
