The cartels hinder the ability of the government to enforce its sovereignty within its borders, those who oppose the drug war fail to recognize that fact. As others have analysed the cartels act as an insurgency against the government and its law enforcement agencies. That being said, we should reduce the demand for drugs here in the United States to assist the Mexican Government. Furthermore, drug cartels do not obtain their arms through legal channels.

mexican government should stop drug war. mexican does not have enough local control capability ,the main market of mexican drug is USA. so,if USA can control theirs drug market,the mexican drug will lessen.
