In a way, I feel like I've lost another mother. She was like a mother figure ro me, growing up in the late 50's, early 60's. RIP

I like how the audio only plays through the right speaker. Very pleasant. Especially with headphones.

Best Eddie quote I remember, talking to Wally as Wally was cleaning the garage: "It's summer vacation. Your parents aren't allowed to make you work all the time. It's a state law."

@bobbobato, Listen, I'm as cynical as anyone about society's evil and well know that the world has always had cruelties and injustices. But anyone in America that is over 50 can tell you that the world in our neighborhoods and cities were MUCH less violent, kids were MUCH more innocent and obeyed parents' tremendously better. Prior to 1970 and even a bit later, I would have felt relatively safe after dark in most neighborhoods. Drugs were nowhere near as commonly used. Yes, a safer/gentler time!

@philipatoz Did you even watch the video? The cast members of the show admitted themselves that families in the 1950s were not all like they were on 'Leave it to Beaver'. Ah, a different time, a gentler world! Well, besides that whole colonialism and rampant un-checked discrimination thing.

@alphadogstudio more like Hugh Heffner LOL
Barbara Billingsley, best known as the 'perfect mom' on TV's 'Leave it to Beaver,' dies at 94
Barbara Billingsley, who gained the title supermom for her gentle portrayal of June Cleaver, the warm, supportive mother of a pair of precocious boys in "Leave it to Beaver," has died. She was 94.
Spokeswoman Judy Twersky says Billingsley died early Saturday at her home in Santa Monica. She had suffered from a rheumatoid disease.
Godspeed Barbara. We will miss you!

@johnrunion She knew she was beloved by everyone. She was the perfect Mom to all of us. I loved her in Airplane too. What a classy lady.
