Awesome. I just started playing and this was the first bass line I wanted to learn.
Why go 2-3-5 on the E string (0:22 to 0:32)
instead of the easier 2-3 on the E and straight to open A?
I noticed this in other videos as well..

Thanks for your comment! It's a sweet bass line for sure.
The reason for it is because I like to practice my fingering and left hand technique... so I won't always to the easiest route - helps exercise the fingers.. stretch them out, good habit to get into
