  • In France even if doctors knows about gluten problems , it's the last think they will test on their patient .Thank you Dr Rodney for your works , we need more people like you because nutrition is not considered as a factor of illness in occidental medicine .I stopped gluten last week , i feel better , more energy , better skin , do i need probiotics to restore my intestinal flora or it will restore by itself?

  • Thanks. Yes a probiotic is always good take one for the next 6 months. Yes, we all need excellent nutrition. Gluten is not necessary for a healthy diet. Hope that you continue to improve on your gluten free diet. Cheers, Dr Rodney Ford.

  • That is gotta be the saddest commercial ever. Great building blocks and mouse trap! Hey, I've got a better theory for you to write a book on: food makes you sick. yes if you have a headace, bad skin, and a tommmy ache, its because of food! avoid it! Seriously man, you give real medicine a bad reputation with these kinds of vids.

  • Thanks for your comments. Yes, symptoms from food do evoke a lot of feelings. Yes, you are correct that many people do not suffer any ill effects from gluten. Sadly, 1-in10 do get unwell from eating gluten and they need to avoid it to get better. Medicine already has a bad name in the context of diagnosing gluten sensitivity. It is usually ignored. Hence my over-the-top vid to help get some of these conversations going. Thanks for your contribution. Best wishes, Rodney Ford.

  • Hello Dr. Ford, unfortunately, I didnt know about gluten for the first 40 years of my live.

Eating gluten-free for more than two years now, I recovered from many medical problems.

You can read my story and hear me playing the violin, although doctors told me I never would play again! I am on Youtube, just fill in the tags Marianne Michiels.

  • Thanks, what a great gluten story. Thank you. I hear people tell me these sorts wonderful changes on gluten-free every day. I predict that a third of the population will be gluten-free in 10 years. Best wishes. Dr Rodney Ford.

  • thank you for the videos doctor. they are informative and i do learned a lot.

my kid has bad eczema and i am trying to figure the cause of it.

perhaps its the FOOD i am feeding her!!

  • Enjoyable video. I'm not officially diagnosed, but my mother was. Or she at least claims to be. We went off bread product for a couple months, and I felt better. Now, we're back to eatting gluten completey, though I'm cutting it out again, and we all feel miserable like tomorrow doesn't exsist. Can I officially claim I'm a Celliac? Probably a lame question...looking forward to reading the book.

  • I am a 37 year old mail. I have diarrhea and was recently diagnosed with lymphocitic collitis. I have no other known health problems. I was wondering if gluten can be responsible for this.

    Loved the vid, anyway..

  • Dr. Rodney, I'm 34 years old and found out, well I thought I found out I had Asperger Syndrome. I've heard that people with autism shoud go on a a gluten free casein free diet. I've done this and a lot of my autistic symptoms have gone away. Is it possible that I just had gluten intolerance and not AS? I looked at pictures of me through the years and I looked miserable and tired. Now I have energy and feel alive after specifically taking gluten out of my diet. I'm losing weight now too.

  • That`s what I`ve read several times. It seems that the human body has not yet fully adapted to gluten. I`ve hugely benefited from a gluten free diet, I surely won`t go back again.

    Greetz from Switzerland

  • Gluten is NOT addictive. I went off it with no problem whatsoever!
