@cowboyzsuk81 - Well I highly doubt the Eagles chant/song was in use pre-60s, when it was allegedly penned. But.... I will conceed to you that the Jets chant was probably loosly based on the Eagles Song/chant, just without the song part. The origins of both are not able to be confirmed with any certainty, but I will admit you are probably right and Im probably wrong on this.

eagles have been around since '33..jets have been around since early 60's..jets stole it from us.

I'm not a football fan and have been to exactly one game in my entire life... But I know enough from living in Jersey that screwing with Jets fans is like screwing with an angry street gang.
