Leonard was such a smart fighter in the ring , set him apart from Hearns , Duran , Hagler. All great but Ray was the best of the 4.
-
@2pacinseattle You mean Mayweather , Pac's ready and has been for years
-
Hearns is such an idiot
-
I respect all men black or white that can hold a conversation as these two a real credit to the sport !
-
Too bad Mayweather and Pacquiao won't do this.
Real champions fight the best, two warriors right here.
I wish I were alive during these times.

@Flankitto04 Not everyone that lives in the ghetto talks ignorant. There are intelligent people that live in the hood, believe me. I came from the ghetto myself.
That is kind of a racist assumption you made.

@nowayjose470 Amen to that. When you see guys like Floyd Mayweather Jr, David Haye, and James Toney acting like complete idiots you almost forget how classy boxers used to be back in the day. I feel a world champion should always conduct themselves in a professional manner, not like they're standing on the street corner with their homies.

I agree. This has become the market for athletes to sale them selves in all sports. As Thugs.Ray was very confident going into this fight.
-
these two at that time were virtually unbeatable. amazing to think they sit side by side like two examples of physical perfection. i think leonards amazing chin was the difference in the end

@elcondepatula they wouldnt fit in toneys stomach at the moment!!!
A day when boxers were treated like athletes and sportsmen, not thugs. A day when boxers acted like athletes and not thugs. Interviewers were treated like professionals.
The thuggish atmosphere surrounding boxing today has hurt its credibility as sport and athletic competition.
