Katy Perry - Hot and Cold (Piano Version)

EDIT: OK, 3rd time I upload this video. Dunno what's going wrong with the other times I've tried to upload, but I changed the format from h264 m2ts to plain mpeg2. Hopefully that'll solve it and the video will be watchable normally.

Ok, so I'm finally back!! I've been super busy with many things, related to work, my health, and emotional life. Some of them are fixed, others are in the process of being fixed, others are unfixable. This past weekend I found time and energy to do 2 more videos, of which I'm now posting the first, a pretty cool and upbeat song by Katy Perry, song whose videoclip I really enjoy watching.

You might also notice that I'm using a new video camera. I was considering getting a Canon HFS100, but for the small sensor the price is not worth it... So, while I decide if I want an EOS 7D or I wait and see what Canon does with their next Eos Rebel entry model about their video capabilities (sensors in dSLRs are HUGE, the video quality is incomparable to small sensors, as well as the DoF), I picked up an ultraportable Canon SD960IS. Wide lens, fast aperture, video @ 720p. The quality is pretty awesome for this little device, BUT after recording these last 2 videos, the one I'm now posting and the one I'll soon post, I learned a lesson: ultraportables are much lighter than the crappy prehistoric digicam I had, and so when I play the piano and record, the camera vibrates/jumps A LOT. Didn't see that coming, sorry about that in this and the following video. From now on I'll put the camera on some smooth surface to absorb shock or on a different stand altogether.

lol... NO, if it were this lil camera would be a miracle. the sound is captured from my yamaha p140 directly to my computer through a lossless channel, then i put audio and video files together and synchronize them.

uhm... ok, so it took me 3 times to know how to play the whole song. 10 minutes. seriously, it's structurally VERY simple. it's catchy, repetitive. i'll see if i can post a video of it soon.
