@whitebishop1 Yeah, he looks like a character from G.I.Joe to me. Marvel Productions animated both "G.I.Joe" and "Muppet Babies". As well as, "Spider-Man", "Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends", "The Incredible Hulk", "Transformers" and "My Little Pony".
Marvel Productions was a big company back in the 80's.

I know what you mean. They don't teach anything.

You def. have that 1 right. I mean, a lot of the old-school cartoons were awesome b/c not only were they entertaining, they also TAUGHT things. What the hell are today's cartoons teaching?? That "DUH!!!!" is the new SMART??

Rowlf Has Been My Favorite Character For A Long Time :)

Sadly, as cool as it is to see them splice in movie footage, it's also the reason Muppet Babies will likely never see a DVD release ever.

1:05 "This fantasy is rated PG. We're underage."
Funny, considering "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" was considered too violent, even for PG. It was because of that movie and "Gremlins" (both PG movies released in the summer of 1984) that the PG-13 rating was conceived.

The humans in the Temple of Doom look almost like characters that would appear on the "G.I. Joe" animated series.
Additionally, it is interesting how those humans are more "realistic," compared to other humanoid characters (with the exception of Nanny, possibly) that appear more Muppet-like (even if it's just a newscaster on TV)
