Vlog #4: Cooking Lessons in our Barcelona Hostel

Introducing one of my new friends whom I met while staying in a hostel in Barcelona: Chef Joe from NY! Joe's a "classically trained gourmet chef" who came to Europe to gain experience cooking real Italian food in Italy and also to travel, among other things.

With limited supplies, we asked Joe for his opinion of what we could cook for dinner. In the end, Joe walked us through the entire process and taught us a few lessons on proper chopping vegetables and cooking.

I've never learned how to cook and I was always too scared to try anything past boiling ramen and dumplings, so I can honestly say this lesson was a life changer (as silly as it sounds)! I'm more confident in experimenting with cooking now... if you follow me on Twitter I always post about how excited I am to cook something new haha!
