This is basically a modified pull-up, using the rings. It has emphasis on the negative (lowering) portion of the movement. Keeping (on the negative) the hands supinated, and the elbows inward next to the body creates an enormous tension to the biceps tendons. I like this exercise for virtually any exercise that uses elbow flexion. I also perform this negative with the hands in a pronated grip to really load the brachialis, and brachio-radialis muscle tendons. Any way, have fun with it!!

  • Woah that would be hard!

  • I found this exercise to be also very effective for core strength.I makes me contract all the muscle in the core,I do not know any other excercise that would do that.

  • wow, shoulda flexed aferward
