I think I've shared this to Facebook over 100 times. Paul Brady is a genius and has accompanied so many brilliant Irish traditional musicians yet his own solo contributions like this (arguably one of the most definitive pieces) show that he is one of Ireland's BEST EVER.

I first saw Paul in 77 - it was such an amazing experience for a 10 year old - I had a fantastic upbringing on Joni Leonard Bob Woody Planxty Horslips Pistols Patti Clash - & I pity the youth of today as they are brainwashed with the corporate conservative homophobic shite passed off as music
