WRjc members are now involved in the push to open the railway line from Wolsingham to Bishop Auckland. On Sunday 15th February 2009 a small group worked between Wolsingham and Harperley greasing fishplates and replacing missing track keys.
Heavy things aren't they. Still, good to see youngsters being allowed to get the experience of using proper tools, and doing a 'proper' job of work. Pity other railways don't see it that way. can't wait to ride the line for the whole of the new operating length.
