I agree,using charcoal can be tricky when trying to maintain the heat.

He obviously doesn't know anything about charcoal grilling or smoking meat. When he says that charcoal doesn't last that long. I'd be embarrassed to say anything that stupid!!

Actually Jerry has been doing this for over 20 years and is correct in his statement. Charcoal heat can not hold an even temperature for the 3-4 hours needed to let the bird be done correctly without adding more briquettes. Even doneness requires even heat.
