Located between Jayamahal and Sadashivanagar, the Bangalore Palace boasts of elegant woodcarvings and Tudorstyle architecture, along with Gothic windows, battlements and turrets. The ground floor of the Palace comprises of a massive open square, which is full of granite seats adorned with fluorescent blue ceramic tiles. An exquisite door panel at the entrance leads to grand settings inside. The interiors have breathtaking floral motifs, cornices, mouldings and relief paintings on its ceiling. Bangalore Palace, inspired by the Windsor Castle, was built in 1887 AD by Chamaraja Wodeyar.
