I know that in America, they do remakes of many British shows and among them are "All In The Family" "Sandford and Son" "The Office" and more recently "Top Gear". In the case of "Top Gear" it is evident that the attraction is the three presenters. The American version just 'doesn't have it.'

I was about to mention that this looked like "Laverne and Shirley" but I see someone already has. :)

you could almost call this show the UK pre-cursor to Laverne and Shirley almost a decade apart but they both are their own shows not re-dos like man about the house UK and three's company US.
