One time I did this long ass parade and eventually I zoned out marching in perfect step. By the time we finished my neck killed because I was holding the rifle wrong.

@marshmallower that is correct. because you where on the flight line. and that is exactly the reason why you shouldent have hats. what if your hat was to get sucked into a airplane prop your metal enlisted cap device could be shreded up and could hit and kill someone. good job!

Yeah, that is the rule. But our second lieutendant said that we can't have hats on cause we're on a runway and a aircraft was roaring its engines. If out hats got sucked into one of the engines, heh heh, that wouldn't be good.
