All due respect but deckers with the A frame mantied load riding up high on a packed animal lets the animal breathe and the load swing..when you throw a cinch than compress panniers everything sucks into the animal..with your diamond hitches..you rather carry a backpack high on your back or low down on your spine? My dad was a US Army Master packer Instructor In WW2 and Korea switched to the decker and never looked back....respect to you though sir..just givin my 2.
