I've found that mine will charge up fairly well under an EXTREMELY bright light at an extremely close range, but nothing compared to being out in the sun.

about how long does it take to charge in the sun and does it charge under a lamp or other light besides the sun?

it fires every second or 2 in full sunlight. this particular bot isn't very good under artificial light. what i'll find is they'll actually pop every 10-20min in a room because they're slowly charging on whatever sunlight is getting in lol but no not under a lamp.
